Personal Care
Personal Care is a big part of each individual’s day to day life. Being provided a helping hand by a compassionate and pleasant team member from Carers Link can provide a great sense of confidence and wellbeing to get you through your day.
Our in-home care services are flexible to meet individuals’ specific needs. Whether you are recovering from a recent illness or injury, or needing care as a natural part of ageing, you may need a little extra help at times. Maximising independence and enabling you to stay in your own home for as long as possible is our main goal.
We can assist you with any tasks you require help with such as:-
Assisting with your morning and evening routines,
Our professionally trained staff can support you with as little or as much help as you require. This can be stand by assist for a shower where the team member may be available if you need, to a fully assisted wash, dry and dress and everything in between.
Medication prompting
Our nurses can remind you to take your medication when it is required. This is usually via a Webster Pack for convenience. Or assistance with injections, patches etc.
Personal Grooming
We can help you with your shaving and hair washing if you find this difficult to do yourself. We may even paint toenails if that’s what you would like and who doesn’t enjoy a good pamper every now and again?
Assistance with meal preparation
Our team are able to assist you with cooking meals for you. We can heat and serve or cook.
Assistance with getting in and out of bed
We can help you get in and out of bed safely and comfortably. We will make your bed and pull it back of a night. We can assist in emptying and replacing commodes.
